Family Picture

Warning: Sarcasm in this post may be due to new baby blues.

We also took a family Easter picture with coordinating Easter outfits. When my son was complaining about why we all had to wear blue. His father told him that it was, because of the foolish traditions of his mother (or lots of mothers in the world). He also told my son that his mother was wanting accolades from people at church. Gee, thanks honey. So, seeing the picture, how did I do at matching? Do I get some accolades? I've been waiting at least a week or so for somebodys phone call. Just kidding, please don't call. I do feel good about my matching abilities. Did you notice that my husband has on a blue tie? He changed to blue after choosing red so he could follow the foolish traditions of mothers around the world also . . . without being asked.

What the Weech's did for Easter!

We enjoyed putting together Easter eggs for the family Easter egg hunt.

If your a kid at our house you learn quickly you have to eat candy fast. Or else the mom comes in and swipes it away.
Got our picture taken with the Easter Bunny at the ward Easter egg hunt

Introducing Matthew Ammon Weech

Born March 12, 2008 12:33 pm 8lbs. 9oz 19 1/2 inches. All went well with delivery. Matthew fits our family mold. He has red hair (for now) like my daughter did and looks a lot like my son Adam. He's a sweet baby with a fiery temper. Do not, I repeat, do not leave him with a stinky diaper for even a second. He also lets you know if he's hungry and that you better feed him now. Hmmm, I wonder where he got his fiesty temper from? But, we are very happy to have him here in our home. We thought there might be some jealousy like in the past, but so far there is not. All the kids love him a lot.

No, baby yet!

I was hoping not to be pregnant right now, but I am. Part of me says how much longer can I handle this and the other part says I've got projects to do. So maybe that's why the baby is taking his sweet time to let me get my projects done.
My feet and legs have swelled up so much that you cant tell me feet from the rest of my leg. They look like logs.
For the last three weeks I've only progressed to 3 centimeters. Had my membranes stripped twice. The baby is still head down and ready to come. If he doesn't come by next Wed. then the doctor will induce me by the weekend of the 14th and 15th. I sure hope its' sooner than this. Oh, to sleep again would be nice.
